The Energy Queensland Customer and Community Council is a forum that enables Energy Queensland to work in partnership with organisations that represent our customers and communities.

It explores strategic issues relating to customer and community needs and expectations, emerging customer and community issues and initiatives in energy infrastructure and services, and the provision of energy solutions across Queensland.

The Energy Queensland Customer and Community Council is sponsored by Michael Dart, Executive General Manager Customer, and Chaired by Kenny Mizzi, Manager Customer Advocacy.

Bundaberg Regional Irrigators Group (BRIG)

Bundaberg Regional Irrigators Group (BRIG) was established to represent irrigators in the Bundaberg district across a range of food and fibre commodity groups.

The water energy nexus is not well understood outside the irrigated farming community, however water and energy are the most important inputs to our various cropping systems with a majority (circa 90%) of our irrigation systems powered by grid supplied electricity.
