You can see from our stats below that – while the majority of customers experienced less than one power outage per year on average – the number and the average length of the outages experienced varies greatly depending where you live or work.

We have minimum standards that we are required to deliver to (outlined in our regulations). These recognise the challenges of delivering to the more rural and the remote areas of the state.

While some localised sections of our networks are under performing, generally we don’t believe the community wants to pay more for further improvement in the reliability of their electricity supply.
