Changes to standards for connection of embedded generation
We are currently seeking feedback on proposed changes to our standards for the connection of solar, batteries and other embedded generation to our distribution networks:
These changes could place new requirements on manufacturers, suppliers and installers connecting units to Ergon Energy’s and Energex’s networks. They are looking to address the network stability, security and safety risks associated with the increasing number of systems connected to the network. The changes will also provide consistency across our current standards.

SURVEY 1 is for 0 - ≤30kVA micro embedded generating units
SURVEY 2 is for >30kW to 1,500kW embedded generating systems
