Demand Flexibility and Innovation Working Group

To support Energy Queensland's Customer and Community Council we have a forum dedicated to informing our Demand Management Plan and Demand Flexibility Roadmap.

The Demand Flexibility and Innovation Working Group meets quarterly and discusses topics and issues that are specific to demand management, energy flexibility and demand innovation in the electricity industry.

The forum is represented by members from the following advocacy groups and organisations:

Peter Newland – Commercial &Industrial & Residential Customers, Energy Transition, Planet Ark Power

Brett Collins – Fuel Business - Decarbonisation, Electrification, Retail, EV Charge, Ampol

Courtney Markham – Retailer, Consumer Protections, Vulnerable Customers, Transition to Renewables, Origin

Emily Gadaleta – Utility Assets, Household (EV, BESS), EV Charging, VPP, Tesla

Merrily Hunter – Commercial, Vulnerable, Energy Retailers, Community Groups, Trade Services, MAC Trade Services

Matthew Duncan – Energy Contractors & Installers, Master Electricians Australia

Kari Dahlgren – Research, Future Technology (in the home), Behavioural Science, Monash University

Wendy Miller – Transmission, Powerlink
